Winka Dubbeldam (b. 1960, Netherlands) is a Dutch-American architect and academic, founder (1994) and principal of Archi-Tectonics NYC, Professor and former Chair of Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania's Weitzman School of Design, and since September 2025 Director and CEO of the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc). Trained at the Institute of Higher Professional Architectural Education, Rotterdam (MArch 1990) and Columbia University (MArch Advanced Architectural Design, 1992), she worked with Peter Eisenman (1992–1994) before founding her own practice. Her work couples sustainable materials, inventive building methods and digital techniques; built projects include the Greenwich and 512GW buildings in New York, the American Loft tower in Philadelphia, the Asian Games Park masterplan in Hangzhou (2022), and the Aida House of Beauty in Manhattan (2000) — the project theorised in "Thing-Shapes."
